How Vertical Autoclaves Work
Loading: Items are placed in the vertical chamber, usually in perforated trays or baskets.
Sealing and Pressurization: The lid is locked, and the chamber is pressurized with steam.
Sterilization: High-temperature steam penetrates the items, destroying bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores.
Exhaust and Drying: Steam is released, and items are allowed to cool before removal.
